It is pretty special.
DeleteEvery time you post a photo like this I am in complete and total AWE. I bet it feels so thrilling and humbling at the same time to experience this!!
ReplyDeleteYes, both thrilling and humbling. Reece and I stopped to take a shadow picture and a squirrel climb right up my leg...that was pretty cool.
DeleteWow! Fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI"m with Karen.... in total and complete AWE!!! I am curious to how long he had to wait before the birds came. Such a beautiful moment!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jules. It took about 10 seconds and they were right there ready to eat. We stopped counting how many landed on our hands after 50. I knew it would be a good day to go to this spot, it was a spring like day and I knew the birds would be hungry. They were actually chasing us, as were the squirrels. We love this spot.
DeleteThose birds have not fear...of course they have no reason to be fearful, but it still amazes me every time.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
They are very comfortable. It never gets old, doesn't matter how many times we visit.

ReplyDeletePretty amazing, eh? We go to this spot often, the birds, squirrels and chipmunks are used to human contact and welcome us. Each time we go it is amazing, and it never gets old.
