  2. kim, thanks for sharing your reading list. there are more than a few i have not read but i intend to. if you hear of any good books related to parenting girls, please pass on the name. also, a book i think would make your childrens list is "On the Day You Were Born" by Debra Fraiser. check it out.

  4. Thank you for this list. There are a few we have not yet read that we will check out. Also, are you familiar with Ox-Cart Man (Donald Hall) and Grandfather Twilight (Barbara Berger)? Both are simple stories with beautiful artwork.
