Right Now

:: My home is quiet, little man is still sleeping, the birds are chirping and the sun is shining bright

:: I am enjoying a second cup of coffee and the quiet, alone time

:: I can't believe it has been almost a month since I have visited this space...how did that happen?

:: The glow of yesterday's beautiful summer like day is still lingering in my mind

:: My body is sore, a good sore, from working in the garden

:: There are fresh flowers on my table...purple tulips

:: In the garden daffodils, tulips and more are blooming

:: The rooster is waking every creature in the forest surrounding us

:: I am thinking about the day ahead, making plans, leaving space to just be

:: There is gratitude in my heart

:: I am happy

What's happening in your "right now", my friends?

  1. "leaving space to just be"- such a beautiful meditation! Right now- scary lightening is making me very aware of my surroundings and the kids are off playing at a friends house, and I have quiet (except the thunder). Nice to find this space again. Have a nice weekend!

    1. Yes, I find if I am not conscious about leaving that space to just be, it doesn't happen. Funny how that is ;)

      So happy you enjoyed some quiet too, despite the thunder. Wishing you a beautiful weekend too.

  2. It is nice to visit your space again. I have on a sabbatical myself from blogging ( three months in fact). But I am slowly getting back into it. I think we all need breaks once in while and life is surely busy. I am glad Spring has arrived your place. Looking forward to checking back in. Take care!

    1. Hello Kathleen, so nice to "see" you. Yes, breaks are good, and to be honest, I have been living life and haven't much felt like documenting it. Little man is older now too, so finding the balance of how much to share is always delicate.

      Looking forward to seeing you back in your space. Have a lovely weekend.

  8. Seems a lot of us have been taking breaks from blogging. Right now I'm waiting on a phone call from a friend and enjoying the quiet now that the kids are in bed. Also thinking about my morning cup of coffee.
