Gratitude
~ for trusting the path we are on
~ for time in nature with my little man, walking slowly, and soaking up the beauty of Mother Nature
~ for the lessons I learn every day
~ for the summer goodness slowly filling up the pantry shelves and freezer
~ for the stillness of our home in the early morning when it is just me and my cup of tea
~ for slow days filled with the things we love doing
~ for laundry on the line, and the sun that dries it
~ for the two men...one big, one little, that I am on this journey with
What are you grateful for today?

So much of your list could be on my list too :)
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the little bridge and can't wait to show Mike, that is exactly what I want him to build for our land, it' perfect.
Have a beautiful weekend!
It is a beautiful bridge Tracey, on a hiking trail we love. How wonderful it would be to have it on your land. Hope it works out, and do share photos when it is done.
Deletefor mornings that are fresh and a clean slate, my knitting, my family, and good food!
ReplyDeleteGood things Karen :)
DeleteI love this list & much of it is on mine too! I especially am grateful these days for the quiet mornings before the girls get up. They are centering me. And I am grateful for slowly putting together a gentle pre-school rhythm for the upcoming year. So much I want to include without overwhelming my little one! I will most likely be sending you e-mails as I go along :-)
ReplyDeleteAren't those quiet mornings just perfect. I need them to center me too. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
DeleteI'm grateful that the rain has ended and this year may just have a bit of summer up its sleeve, after all. :)
ReplyDeleteI sure hope it does, enjoy!
DeleteSo wonderful! I am grateful that we are having temperatures in the 80's (instead of high 90s) so that we can enjoy our summer afternoon outside. I am also grateful for my sweet finn and his love of reading, and how he shares that love with his little sister.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those cooler temperatures. And how wonderful that Finn is enjoying reading. I bet watching him read to Phoebe just melts your heart. xo
DeleteStunning pictures. I love the one with the bridge. I also love that you put trusting the road you are on. SO often, I forget to trust in that road, looking for another. Great post!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love that bridge. Yes, sometimes we just need to trust that we are moving along the right path, even when it might feel a little off. There is a quote I always hold close to my heart..."Hold the vision, trust the process" I sometimes have to remind myself just to hold my dreams close and trust that the process/path will get me there.
DeleteWhat a beautiful list once again... so much to be grateful for, but I'll choose :
ReplyDelete- for ripe summer berries ready to preserve for fall
- for finally enough cucumbers to make relish this week-end
- for farmer's markets, helping keeping us fed in both body and soul
- for heavy summer thunder storms, slowing down time and making it okay to just sit by the window and watch.
Have a beautiful week-end my friend!
And a lovely list from you too. Wishing you a lovely weekend too. xo
DeleteThat bridge is awesome ~ thank you for stopping by to visit my very new blog today :)

DeleteBeautiful words, beautiful photos. I think I've said that before, but it is still true. Have a beautiful weekend.

ReplyDeleteThank you my friend. xo
DeleteSuch beautiful things to be grateful for :) Today I'm grateful for a community of friends found all over the world, that my cold appears to be on the mend, and for time with my little family, before it gets just that smidgen bit bigger!
ReplyDeleteLovely list Carie. Glad you are feeling better.
DeleteLovely list and photos. At the moment I'm grateful for so many things, I love this time of year. But to pick out one special thing - every night I'm lying in bed feeling happy and tired with the day that's just gone and I go to sleep really looking forward to getting up early in the morning - to have a little bit of time to myself and then another wonderful day with the children.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sally. That is just wonderful my friend. Enjoy this time with your kiddos, soak up every minute.
Deletethe photos are stunning...so much to be grateful for...thanks for sharing and reminding us.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteBeautiful! Thanks for reminding me, I need to put a load of washing on. I'm grateful for our washing machine. It would take longer washing by hand. I'm also grateful for health and happiness once again. xo
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie. I agree on the washing machine, I can't imagine having to wash by hand. xo
