It was lovely. I take it slow with Taproot, savouring it as long as I can. Usually read a piece each night. Definitely think about subscribing, it is awesome.
A lovely day. Flower picking (are the reddish orange flowers Devil's Paint Brush?), an amazing capture of rebirth, and a quiet evening. I like how the butterfly on the Magazine looks similar to your moth friend. Yup, those are the yummiest types of days. Be well.
Thanks. There are daisies, and yellow, and red hawkweed in that little meadow. They had a blast picking flowers. That moth was a surprise. We found what we thought was an old cocoon, and low and behold a moth popped out yesterday in the bug catcher. Very cool. We have two more cocoons in the bug catcher right now. I noticed that too when I put the photos together :)
Oh Taproot... Next year's gift to myself! I'm stopping all my quilting magazines and getting a subscription. :-) Looks like you had a lovely day. Picking wild flowers for her preschool teachers is how Little Miss started her day as well! Sorry about not playing this year, my whole life seems to be a mess right now (physically speaking, we are reorganizing the house) so I take very few pictures. I'll be back next week I promise!
Thank you. It is just a small meadow, but so much fun to run around in :) Yes, just emerged. That photo was about 20 minutes or so after emerging. It was very cool, and we have two more caterpillars that have just cocooned, so are waiting patiently.
Ahhh nice........Taproot and a cup of tea. I've been thinking of subscribing to that magazine for a while now. You would recommend it?
ReplyDeletePlaying along with three peeks into our Saturday here http://goodnorthcoastlife.blogspot.com.au/2014/06/morning-noon-and-night-saturday-14-june.html
You should absolutely get the magazine. I get it and it is such a treat every few months.

Deletewow- your butterfly/moth (?) photo is amazing! I keep trying to play along with you, but for some reason, Mondays are rarely good photo days.....
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's a moth, not sure what kind. I sent the photo away to have it identified, hopefully they will get back to me soon.
DeleteFeel free to play along on any day, doesn't have to be today. Pick a day that works for you and then come back and link up :)

ReplyDeleteThanks KC, it was even more beautiful in person. And yes, we do, for the most have really lovely days, and I so enjoy them. I feel very blessed.

ReplyDeleteThat will be a very good choice. Taproot is the only magazine I get now. It feeds my soul and inspires me. Love it!
DeleteNo worries, really. Play along when life allows it. Always here. xo
And of course I meant "playing this week" an not "this year"... *sighs* Can you tell I'm exhausted???? :-P
DeleteI figured that :) Hope you find some time to chill and rest.

DeleteLovely day. That wildflower meadow looks such a beautiful place to be, and what a gorgeous moth. Had it just emerged from the cocoon?
