A Place Where Old Becomes New
Schoolhouse Toys is the new adventure of husband and wife team, Justin and Kim Oliver. Justin, an artist, and Kim, a mom, author and holistic nutritionist, are raising their little boy Reece in the country, in an old, one room schoolhouse.
Together, they create handmade toys from reclaimed wood, fallen trees and other sources of wood from older materials, using new materials only when absolutely necessary.
Mother Nature never creates two trees alike, and so, no two toys are the same. Each toy is unique and different, much like the children who will play with them. The toys respect Mother Earth and will live on for generations to come.

At the moment, toys are only available locally (within the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada - including the Peterborough area, where we live), but it is our hope to extend our services in the near future.
