{This Moment}

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.

If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. Inspired by Soulemama.

  8. Looks like you are at the end of the world with that snow on the beach. He could be in the arctic! Happy weekend.

  9. Love this! I guess because I grew up in the south, I always associate hot weather with the beach, so to me, this contrast is so cool. Have a great weekend!

  21. There is something sweetly melancholy about this photo... it really makes me stop and wonder what is going through his mind, as he faces the big wide sea. Lovely moment. :)

  22. PS - wanted to add: he looks like he does his 'big thinking' by the sea - like so many of us. I posted about that 'ocean effect' just the other day...

  23. This could easily be a shot of here in Scotland - looks very similar and just as cold! Our family loves the shore this time of year though too; it can be very mesmerizing.

    1. I bet is does look similar, and yes cold! We love heading to the shore any time of year, but in the winter it just feels so different, mesmerizing for sure.

  24. I've never been to a beach during the winter with snow on the ground and was just wondering the other day what it looks like. Thanks for sharing!!!
